Solutions Architect (GearsCRM, Inc.; company headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts and may work from home office anywhere in the United States): Apply deep understanding of Salesforce.com administration, business processes and technical analysis, data management and design and development experience leveraging Apex, VisualForce and Web Services to collaborate with clients, gather and analyze their business requirements, design salesforce.com solutions, code and test those solutions, and manage ongoing projects.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Drive requirements validation and solution design and definition activities.
- Assist with technical solution design and data mapping.
- Design and document configuration and reporting.
- Execute Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com solutions, configuration, and testing activities.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to Client project team.
- Perform Unit Testing of all functionality developed.
- Coordinate with prospective clients to design and scope potential engagements.
- Onboard new clients with a discovery session or business process review including both the GearsCRM team and client team.
- Craft Statement of Work documents and Estimates, and coordinate with prospective customers to close sales.
- Apply strong project management skills overseeing various concurrent scoping initiatives and active projects.
Work location: May work from home office anywhere in the United States. All work will be performed remotely online and by phone and email. We actively source and hire the leading Salesforce experts across the U.S. regardless of where they reside. We staff them to the projects that best match their expertise.
The nature of this work will not require the incumbent to perform work at a client’s worksite. Any such visits to a client’s workplace will typically be for 1-3 days’ duration per project. Travel throughout U.S. on occasion will be expected.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and 4 years of operational work experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) to scale business processes. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and 7 years of operational work experience utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) to scale business processes.
Must Have: (1) Work experience must include 3 years of Salesforce.com experience; (2) Must be a Salesforce.com Certified Sales Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant; (3) Deep understanding of Salesforce.com administration, business processes and technical analysis; (4) Broad understanding of the entire salesforce.com platform including the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; (5) Data management and design and development experience leveraging Apex, VisualForce, and Web Services; (6) Refined ability to document requirements for developers; (7) An understanding of what can be done with Apex/Visualforce/Web Services is required (an ability to code is not required); (8) Experience collaborating with development resources to identify estimates and prepare Statement of Work documents; (9) Demonstrated ability to problem solve and understand how a business process can be enhanced and improved using salesforce.com, and proven ability to identify and implement the most effective option; (10) Strong Project Management skills.
